The IRWIN® Unibit® Step Drill No. 5, 1/4-Inch to 1-3/8-Inch, is an ideal bit for cutting precise holes in thin materials such as copper, plexiglass, laminates, wood and mild steel. It has a SpeedPoint® tip that starts cutting quickly and a single flute design that produces a perfectly round hole every time. The Irwin step drill bit also has laser-etched diameter indicators inside the flute that provide a permanent and easy-to-read drilling guide. Use this bit to cut holes from 1/4 inch to 1-3/8 inches in diameter in 10 steps. This Irwin drill bit has a 7/16-inch hex shaft that’s easy to use with standard drill chucks or hex adapters.
